OPUS Consultant Pte Ltd was established in 2022 with the vision to provide design and project management services specialising in civil engineering, geotechnical, surveying and project management.
100% locally owned, OPUS has assembled engineers with extensive knowledge in design and project management who have previously worked with international consultants including SMEC Consultant International, Aspire Consultant Engineers and Meihard Consultant. Together they carry project experience across the Pacific — Fiji, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and Australia — into every brief we take on.

Civil engineering carries a project from pre-planning and feasibility through to detailed design and construction supervision, coordinated using 12d and DRAIN. Surveying & LiDAR puts GNSS RTK systems and drone-based photogrammetry to work moving survey data rapidly from instrument to design file, extending that precision across whole landscapes. Geotechnical engineering, backed by GEO5 software and our highest accreditations, identifies risk early and recommends practical, buildable solutions. Our materials laboratory is IANZ-accredited for soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt and bitumen testing, classification and quality assurance. And asset & project management carries that work across its full lifecycle for governments, asset owners and developers — tracked with Microsoft Projects and RAMM.
Over twenty appointments, OPUS has carried civil, geotechnical and surveying work across both main islands of Fiji and into the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Kiribati — road upgrades for the Fiji Roads Authority from Ba to Taveuni, geotechnical investigations for the Water Authority of Fiji and Energy Fiji Limited, residential and industrial subdivisions for the iTaukei Land Trust Board and private developers, construction supervision on bridges and campus roads, a runway pavement assessment in Kiribati, and hospital site infrastructure in Papua New Guinea.
